Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani is the winner of prestigious award by Forbes. Dr. Mahtani was recently bestowed with Forbes ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ award 2021. This award is one of the categories within the Forbes-FIN ‘Best of Africa’ awards. The award ceremony was conducted during the annual Forbes-FIN (Foreign Investment Network) event, which is one of the most anticipated business events across Africa. Forbes in partnership with Foreign Investment Network conducts this prestigious business event on an annual basis. It is a philanthropic and leadership roundtable conference which invites honorary speakers from across Africa as well as from different fields, sectors and backgrounds. Dr. Mahtani was one of the honorary speakers invited from Zambia to talk during the event which was conducted via online medium as a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Apart from being managed and organized by a leading business magazine, the awards hold significance due to their rigorous selection process. Dr. Rajan Mahtani made his contributions via his companies such as Mahtani Group as well as via his philanthropic activities such as founding the Prison Fellowship Zambia and the Stephen Malama award and scholarship for top law graduates in Zambia.
